Dressage Sporthorse Breeding Program
Simply put, we breed to improve the
quality and ride-ability of the Oldenburg horse.
We are looking to produce sound horses with three good gaits and excellent
dispositions
and trainability. Our horses are handled daily from birth, learn to
stand for the farrier, lead,
trailer and manage easily the daily routine of the farm. They are interested
in people and
frankly magnificent to watch.
Orion's owner, Katherine Heller, imported
our foundation mare, Casablanca, from
Germany in 2001. Casablanca was purchased with the advice and guidance
of
Paul Wendln, at Gestut
Wendeln Farm in Gernany, the Creator of a famous "C" line
of mares in Oldenburg and the breeder of several approved stallions.
Since then
Casablanca has had six foals for us almost all premium rated. Casablanca
has
a fantastic disposition and she imparts that to her babies without exception.
Casablanca is by Lafitte out of a Furioso II mare, and to date is the
only "C" line
broodmare in the USA.

In
2007 we added Feine Koenigen ("Grace") to our broodmare barn.
Grace is by the incomparable Feiner Stern out of a Mecklenberg mare.
Grace is a super nice mare who presented us in July 2007 with a filly,
Fiona by Sagnol (Sandro Hit) who nothing less than spectacular.
Please see the sales page as Grace is currently in foal to Starlight
for a 2010 baby.
